York park closed by Storm Dudley

A York park is closed today because of the bad weather.

Homestead Park off Water End will “remain closed until further notice”, a statement said on social media. It said:

There is lots of flying debris and the risk of falling trees so it is not safe for our visitors and staff.

We will review this continually and might be able to re-open – although the high winds are expected to last until the weekend with the arrival of #StormEunice as well.
