Wednesday update: 86 new coronavirus cases confirmed in York
A further 86 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Wednesday, 22 September).
That takes the cumulative case total to 21,592 – giving an overall infection rate of 10,232.6 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 441 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 45 (11.4%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 169.7 new cases per 100,000 people (358 cases in the week to 17 September). That’s down from 205.7 in the previous seven days (434 cases in the week to 11 September).
There were no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and one in the last seven days (as at 22 September).
