Here’s the moment the crowds were waiting for!
The King and Queen Camilla arrived at York Minster to be greeted by the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell.
The royal couple received a huge cheer from the crowds as their limo pulled up outside the West Front of the Minster.
The King waved to the crowd, and ignored the protesters gathered close to St Michael le Belfrey Church.
He quickly went into the Minster, where a large congregation were assembled for the Maundy service.
