Tadcaster needs your help to clean up after the floods

Tadcaster needs help to clean up after the flood waters left a nasty mess.

Kirsty Poskitt of Tadcaster Community Action Group says donations, big and small, of cleaning equipment like mops and buckets would be very helpful.

“Back in 2015, our friendly Tescos crew drove up with a truck that was just full of buckets and mops and that kind of thing.

“So there was enough to go around and we fully totally appreciate if somebody’s got a mop and bucket and they bring it down and they hand it over. That would be great.

“But what’s really helpful if any of the supermarkets can just give us a load of buckets and cloths and mops.”
