Sunday update: York coronavirus case rate drops below 500

The latest York Covid figures map for 15 February 2022

A further 132 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Sunday, 20 February).

That takes the cumulative case total to 53,981 – giving an overall infection rate of 25,582 cases per 100,000 people.

In the last seven days 940 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – down 308 (-24.7%) week on week.

The rolling seven-day rate in York is 473 new cases per 100,000 people (998 cases in the week to 16 February).

The English national average is 476.9, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 365.6.

There were no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and three in the last seven days (as at 20 February).
