There was one more coronavirus-related death in the York council area today, and two in the last seven days (up one / 100%).

In North Yorkshire, there were 12 new coronavirus cases today, taking the cumulative total to 29,345 – an infection rate of 4,748 cases per 100K.
There are 1,858 cases in Ryedale (no change), 4,854 in Selby (up four), 7,592 in Harrogate (up two), 4,178 in Hambleton (up one), 5,499 in Scarborough (up five), 2,598 in Richmondshire (no change) and 2,766 in Craven (no change).
There were no more coronavirus-related deaths reported by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust today. The last death was on Friday, 2 April.
That leaves the total at 584 across the trust (York and Scarborough Hospitals).
