And another 20 Covid cases were confirmed in York today (Friday, 27 November).
That takes the cumulative total to 5,632 – giving an overall infection rate of 2,674 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days there have been 180 positive Covid-19 tests in York – a decrease of 767 (81.0%) week on week.

In North Yorkshire, there were 74 new coronavirus cases today, taking the cumulative total to 13,208 – an infection rate of 2,137 cases per 100K.
There are 725 cases in Ryedale (up five), 2,095 in Selby (up ten), 3,558 in Harrogate (up 22), 1,701 in Hambleton (up five), 2,865 in Scarborough (up 19), 974 in Richmondshire (up six) and 1,290 in Craven (up seven).
There were four more coronavirus-related deaths reported by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust today. At weekends we can’t determine whether they were in York or Scarborough Hospitals
That takes the total to 295.
