Saturday update: Fourth day in a row with no Covid deaths at York NHS Trust
Another 11 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Saturday, 13 March).
It takes the cumulative total to 12,048 – giving an overall infection rate of 5,720.3 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 106 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up five (5%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 51.3 new cases per 100,000 people.
The English national average is 59.3, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 100.4.
There have been no more coronavirus-related deaths in the York council area, and two in the last seven days (no change).

In North Yorkshire, there were 40 new coronavirus cases today, taking the cumulative total to 28,553 – an infection rate of 4,626.3 cases per 100K.
There are 1,819 cases in Ryedale (up two), 4,649 in Selby (up ten), 7,433 in Harrogate (up five), 4,107 in Hambleton (up four), 5,358 in Scarborough (up eight), 2,533 in Richmondshire (up eight) and 2,694 in Craven (up 11).
There were no more coronavirus-related deaths reported by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust today. It is the fourth day in a row that there have been no Covid deaths.
That leaves the total at 580 across the trust (York and Scarborough Hospitals).
