Today (Monday) gets a lot of headlines for supposedly being ‘Blue Monday’ – the most depressing day of the year.
There’s not a lot of scientific evidence to back this up, but it’s almost a self-fulfilling prophecy with so many headlines about people being down and stressed.
The Samaritans have come up with a great response. They are reclaiming the day as Brew Monday.
And they have teamed up with LNER which means volunteers will be on hand at their railway stations for a cuppa and a chat, including York.
They are even giving away free teabags.
We will be at York train station today, Blue Monday. Come and meet us, have a chat and get some tea bags for you and a friend to share a cuppa together and celebrate 'Brew Monday'.
