Police are at the scene of a crash between a car and a caravan.
The collision happened on the A170 at Thornton-le-Dale at 9.15am today (Monday, 15 May).
The road is closed as emergency services deal with the incident.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “If you’re driving in the area, please find an alternative route, as this road may be closed for some time.”
The AA reports: “Road closed and slow traffic due to crash on A170 both ways between Thornton Le-Dale and Wilton.”
