‘Pretty poor driving conditions’ – Police update
Sgt Paul Cording of North Yorkshire Police says on Twitter: “You don’t need me to tell you that it’s pretty poor driving conditions out there.”
Lane 3 of the A1 at Wetherby is “pretty much out of action” due to the snow. There are a number of roads in and around Ryedale, including the A171 and A169, that are either blocked or with significant delays due to the snowfall.
If you have to go out “please do drive to the conditions” and put your lights on.
