Police issue CCTV after series of shop thefts in York

Police have issued CCTV of a man and woman they would like to speak to following a series of shop thefts in York.

The first happened at the Co-Op Regents Building on York Road, Acomb, on Sunday 22 December.

This was followed by further thefts on 13 January at the BP Garage on Lawrence Street when a large quantify of meat was stolen.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the people in the images as they believe they will have information that will help the investigation.
