The A163 Market Weighton Road has been cleared and reopened after a crash.
As YorkMix reported earlier, the road was partially blocked this afternoon (Thursday) by the collision close to Whitemoor Road, not far from the A19 junction.
Witnesses said the air ambulance had been called to the incident.
The incident is now over and traffic is running as normal.
