Crash causing delays to traffic on main road near York

A crash is causing problems on the A1(M) near York this morning (Tuesday, 27 September).

One lane is closed and there’s slow traffic due to the crash on the southbound carriageway, from J44 A64 (York / Tadcaster) to J43 M1 interchange.

Lane one (of four) is closed due to an overturned vehicle.

According to National Highways, the road is expected to clear between 9.30am and 9.45am.

They expect traffic to return to normal between 10.15am and 10.30am.
