Emergency services are at the scene of a crash south of York this afternoon (Thursday, 18 May).
It is on the A163 Market Weighton Road, close to Whitemoor Road, not far from the A19 junction.

The westbound carriageway is blocked. Witnesses say the Yorkshire Air Ambulance has been called, and a dog escaped from a car involved in the collision. The dog has since been found.
The incident is causing slow traffic in the area.
