Don’t miss out on this festive fun run at York Designer Outlet – there’s still time to sign up!
The charity Elf Run will take place at York Designer Outlet on Sunday 8 December. It will be raising money for York charity, St Leonard’s Hospice.
The Christmassy family-friendly challenge will feature a run around the Outlet, as well as live entertainment, festive snow party, and a visit from Santa himself.
It’s also being hosted by YorkMix – we’ll be cheering you on from the starting line!
The event will open from 8:30am in front of the North Entrance at the Outlet, where you can check in for the challenge and pick up your free elf hat.
The event will kick off with a fun warm up session led by Thomas Clubbercise and YorkMix, followed by a snow party, glitter face-painting, live music, and more.
The route will be clearly marked, and is 1km per lap. Participants can run as many laps as you like, if you fancied the challenge of completing a 5k or 10k.
All runners will receive certificates at the end.
Water and sweets will be provided at the finish line, and each runner will receive a voucher for a free hot drink and pastry to enjoy after the challenge.
Participants will also get a discount on ice skating tickets for Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland at the Designer Outlet.
A registration pack with further details will be sent upon sign-up. Collecting sponsorship for your run is encouraged – no matter how small, every contribution makes a difference.
Don’t miss out on your chance to take part in this festive Elf Run – all while raising money for a fantastic cause. Sign up for your place online here – tickets are £10 per person. Please note that all children must be accompanied by a fee-paying adult.
