Kitten dies after ‘brutal’ air gun attack in York

Biscuit the kitten

An eight-month old kitten has died after what police are describing as a ‘brutal air weapon attack’ in York.

The ginger kitten called Biscuit was shot on Almsford Road in Acomb on Monday (18 March).

Biscuit was taken to a vets and was found to have a pellet embedded in his spine which meant that the vet had to put him to sleep.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
