Firefighters were called after two kittens went missing in York today (Wednesday).
An Acomb crew responded to the incident at 12.43pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb responded to reports of two kittens possibly in pipes behind a kitchen unit.
“Crews removed a manhole cover, and a kitchen unit, to access the pipes and attempt to coax the kittens out of the pipes.
“This incident was left in the hands of the owner.”
