We need an experienced Motor Mechanic, for an immediate start, for the fleet team to carry out servicing, inspections, repairs, modifications and fabrication to vehicles, plant and equipment belonging to our client.  The role will also involve inspections, diagnosis and sign-off of all vehicles and to ensure they are maintained to the right standard.

This role is offered on a temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months, potentially longer at a rate of £15.27 per hour and there is also an opportunity for paid overtime.  The working days will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week with two different shifts patterns.

You will;

• Be qualified to a minimum of level 3 City & Guilds as a Motor Fitter;
• Be required for maintenance of the company’s fleet of vehicles and plant machinery including MOT work, inspections and general maintenance and repairs.
• Have fabrication skills and welding experience ideally, but this is not essential.
• Cat B drivers licence, Cat C would be advantageous, as would Class 4&7 MOT Testers licence.
