We are WorkwithYork and are working with our local authority client to find an experienced Commissioning Manager as part of their Adults Social Care Team specialising in Mental Health, Supported Housing and Homelessness.
This role is for an initial 3-6 months and full time (37 hours per week). Whilst the role is predominantly remote working from home, there will be a monthly need to come to the central York office.

This role involves:
Carrying out a commissioning role to support community contracts
Developing and agreeing commissioning strategies.
You will:
Have proven experience in a commissioning role
Have an understanding of the management of contracts
Ability to work with internal and external partners and the public
