Adult Social Worker – Learning Disabilities       

We are WorkwithYork and are working with our client to find a qualified Adults Social Worker for their Learning Disability team.

This is a full time assignment 37 hours per week for 6 months, a hybrid role with work required from the York City Centre Office and local area and the ability to do some work from home.

Competitive rate of pay including weekly pay, holiday pay and pension with online timesheets.

This role involves:

• Work in a supportive specialist team
• Conducting assessments and reviews with a person centred practice
• Managing a complex but manageable caseload
• Full clean UK driving licence is preferred. 

You will:

• Have a Social Work Qualification: CQSW, Dip. SW, CSS or equivalent
• Be SWE registered
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with an enthusiastic can-do attitude and able to prioritise your workload in an organised way.
• Be an experienced social worker with the ability to critically reflect
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Possess a current valid DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake an online enhanced DBS check
