Police are appealing for the public’s help after a hit-and-run in York.
The collision happened on Hull Road, close to the Shell garage, at around 9pm yesterday (Tuesday, 3 November).
It involved a black Renault Clio and a black Nissan X-Trail.
The Clio left the scene without exchanging details with the other party involved.
The occupants of the X-Trail received minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dash-cam footage taken in the area at the time.”
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.
