Work is almost done to refurbish the iconic halfpipe feature at the Norton and Malton Skatepark.
It will be the final finishing touch to the park which has been transformed after a campaign to save it.
The giant ramp will be a huge draw for fans of skateboarding.
A planned party to celebrate has been delayed because of the sad news of the death of the Queen.
Skateboarder and Entertainer, Ryan Swain, who led the campaign to save the park, says he has been working with King Ramps, skatepark designers, to clean up the frame and the metal work and resurface it.
The new date for the Opening Party is October 2nd with more details to follow.
He said it will include prizes from sponsors, food available on site, live music and some coaching too.
