A guide dog was attacked while out with its owner in York.
It happened at Willow Bank, New Earswick at around 5.30pm on Saturday (17 April).
A man was with his guide dog when the attack happened – which involved another man with a black dog.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information about the male with the dog and any witnesses to the incident.”
