The latest health bulletin on Martin Barrass contains some very welcome good news.
York Theatre Royal, the second home of the much-loved actor, issued this update on Monday (September 19):
The doctors are happy with his progress thus far and feel that although still very unwell he is no longer critical.
Martin was left in intensive care at Leeds General Infirmary following a motorcycle crash near Skipton at about 3pm on Saturday, September 10.
Since the news broke, thousands of messages of love and support have been sent to the actor and his family.
Best-known as one of the stars of the Theatre Royal’s legendary pantomime, Martin is hugely popular with audiences and within the theatre world.
