Girl, 14, ‘punched, kicked and dragged across the ground’ in York city centre

Police are hunting for two York girls who attacked a teenager in York city centre.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Sunday (19 September) outside McDonald’s on Blake Street.

Two teenage girls are alleged have targeted a 14-year-old girl, and punched, kicked and dragged her across the ground.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting any witnesses of this incident to please get in touch as soon as possible.”
