For a soap star, it was the perfect place to go shopping.
Actor Charlotte Bellamy, best known for her long-running role in Emmerdale, dropped into a York shop yesterday.
And it was none other than the Yorkshire Soap Company!
Charlotte, who has played Laurel Thomas in the series since 2002, snapped up some of the handmade goodies at the Blake Street store.
“Charlotte visited yesterday, she was so nice, really open to having a photo taken for our social media,” said Marcus Doyle, co-founder of the Yorkshire Soap Company.
“Natalie our store manager thanked Charlotte for he time with a nice gift box of our Yorkshire Lass Products, such a nice person.
“From one Yorkshire Soap to Another Yorkshire soap!”
