A four year old boy has been hit by a car in York.
The collision happened in York Road, Acomb, at about 4.17pm on Tuesday (June 3).

Police and an ambulance were sent to the scene, outside Betfred bookmakers between Gale Lane and Carr Lane.
The boy broke his leg in the accident and was taken to York Hospital. Thankfully he didn’t have a head injury as originally feared.
York Road was closed to allow collision investigators to examine the scene. It was reopened at about 7.15pm.
