A serious fire badly damaged a house in a North Yorkshire village today (Sunday).
Firefighters from Pickering, Scarborough, Filey and Malton were called to the blaze at a house on Cross Lane, Snainton near Pickering at 10.59am.
All the occupants were safely out when they arrived.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire caused significant damage to the whole property.
“Crews used two hose reel jets, light portable pumps and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
“This incident is still in progress and the cause is yet to be determined.”
