Heavy rain is flooding the railway in parts of Yorkshire causing disruption to train services.
As a result of this, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Routes Affected:
Harrogate – Leeds (York – Leeds Service)
Train services are unable to run from Harrogate to Horsforth however this will also severely affect services from Leeds via Harrogate to and from York, including local stations like Poppleton and Cattal.
Services that run between Leeds and York via Garforth are NOT affected.
Pontefract Monkhill – Wakefield Kirkgate
Train services are unable to run from Pontefract Monkhill towards Wakefield Kirkgate and Leeds.
Services will divert via an alternative route from Pontefract Monkhill to Leeds.
Journey times may be extended by up to 25 minutes whilst travelling by Rail Replacement transport.
LNER Harrogate to London
Services will start / terminate at Leeds. Customers should then board rail replacement buses towards Harrogate.
Northern Customer Advice
Passengers travelling directly between Leeds and York should use the route via Garforth and Church Fenton. Where possible a limited service will run between York and Harrogate.
Rail replacement buses have been requested to operate between Harrogate and Leeds.
