These dramatic pictures show the scale of a blaze being tackled by North Yorkshire firefighters this morning.
They were taken by Station Manager Tony Walker at the scene of the fire near North Duffield, Selby.
It its height, 30 firefighters were involved using six pumps, a water bowser and an aerial ladder.
They were called out at 2.56am and came from Selby, York, Acomb, Huntington, Harrogate, Tadcaster, Northallerton and Snaith.
Flames and smoke billowed from the blaze, in a plastic recycling plant on an industrial unit on Lowmoor Road.
As well as dousing the fire with foam, they used a digger to dig out the pile.
Station manager Walker told YorkMix that no one has been injured at the incident.
The fire is now under control. By 10am two fire crews remained at the scene damping down. The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
