Crews from two fire stations tackled a blaze at a house near York today (Saturday).
Firefighters from York and Huntington responded to a call to Dunnington at 10.25am after the roof caught light.
Fire service Group Manager Bob Hoskins said: “No persons were Injured and an aerial ladder platform was used to assist crews to find the seat of the fire.
“A Fire Investigation officer is attending the scene to try and ascertain the cause.”
