Firefighters called out to rescue ‘trapped’ cat – only to find it’s not stuck, just refusing to budge

This may be the most cat story ever.
A firefighter was called out to help a trapped cat in Selby yesterday.
The call came through at 6pm from a pet owner asking for help to free their pet Snowy from a property on Elston Avenue.
The cat was reported to be trapped between two fences.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Following an inspection the officer realised Snowy wan’t physically trapped but just refusing to come out.
“The officer gave advice only.”
