A fire was started deliberately in a York park.
Firefighters from Acomb were called to the fire, off Ashbourne Way, at 9.21pm last night (Saturday).
Fire crews didn’t name the park, but Foxwood Park is found to the north of the street.

A pile of wood, measuring one metre squared, had been set alight.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire was caused deliberately. Crews used backpack sprayers to extinguish.”
