Fire crews rescue York dog who got its head stuck in a baby gate

York firefighters were needed to carry out an unusual rescue last night.

A crew from Huntington were called out at 9.30pm to a home in North Moor Road in Huntington.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Huntington responded to a report of a dog who had got his head stuck in a baby gate.

“Crews released the dog with no obvious injuries and gave advice to the owner.”
