Local residents are invited to bring their energy bills along and we will be able to help them find the best energy supplier to help them save money, identify if they can benefit for energy saving measures and support

Janet Thompson, CAB energy adviser, said they can offer energy saving tips and more. They may also be able to help you to access council grants for loft or cavity wall insulation.

Many people are reluctant to switch energy supplier and will stick with the same company for years, even if they could save money elsewhere.

Citizens Advice York is here to help. We can check the savings and help people switch if they decide to. On average people save £250 per year – and it’s easier than they think.
