Richard Durrant Music For Midsummer

Guitarist, composer and ukulele virtuoso Richard Durrant comes to the NCEM with his trademark blend of original guitar music, British flavoured folk, Bach’s 3rd Cello Suite played on ukulele and plenty of tales from the road. The tour coincides with the release of Richard’s new album ‘Weald Barrows’

Richard will be starting his musical pilgrimage in Orkney and then will cycle through the UK, performing en route and arriving at Brighton Open Air Theatre for the summer solstice..

Says Richard: “This is my way of reducing my carbon footprint whilst playing music in some wonderful places and drawing attention to the climate crisis”.
