Emergency services were called out to reports of youths on a roof in Selby two times in two hours last night.
Both times the incident was on Gowthorpe in the town.
The first call-out was at 5.25pm. “Selby crews responded to reports of youths on top of roof. On arrival youths had climbed down and left the scene,” a North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said.

They were called out again at 6.48pm. The spokesperson said: “Selby crew were requested by police to assist with getting a group of teenagers down from a roof.
“On arrival the children had got down and left the scene.”
