Emergency services responded to two road traffic collisions last night.
At 5.32pm Harrogate firefighters were called to the B6164 at Little Ribston after an electric vehicle crashed.
They freed a man who was trapped in the wreckage. He was taken to hospital. No other vehicle was involved.
And at 5.55pm, 999 crews were called to Downdinner Hill, Whitby after a crash on the roundabout involving a motorbike.
One man was taken to hospital. Whitby firefighters helped police clean up fluids from the road that had leaked from the bike.
