Driver seriously injured after car overturns

This was the scene emergency services were confronted with after a collision in Ryedale.

They were called to the scene on Welham Road, Norton, at about 9am yesterday (Saturday).

The vehicle was upside down in a hedge on the side of the road.

Police say the suspected driver suffered serious injuries in the incident.

They are appealing for any witnesses or people with dashcam footage to contact them on 101 and quote job 93 of the 2nd July.
