Driver hurt after crashing into four parked cars, closing road

A driver was injured after crashing into four parked cars last night (Sunday).

Emergency services were called to the A170 High Street at Brompton by Sawdon at 8.24pm.

Police called out Scarborough firefighters after the crash.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “First aid was administered by the fire crew until the arrival of the ambulance to the male driver, and the A170 was closed for a while through a combination of police and fire.”
