A driver is in hospital with serious injuries after a two-car smash left one car in a ditch.
Emergency services were called to the collision on Whitemoor Lane, Barlby, near Selby, at 3.22pm.
As we reported earlier, the road was partially blocked by the incident.
One person was trapped in both cars.
Firefighters from York and Selby freed the male driver from one of the cars and he transported to hospital by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance with serious injuries.
The driver of the other car got himself out and was taken to hospital by road ambulance with minor injuries.
