Crew tackles fire in Acomb

Firefighters tackled a fire in Acomb yesterday evening (Thursday).

One crew was sent to Horner Street at 5pm to reports of a motorbike on fire.

When they arrived they found the fire had spread to a garden gate and external fittings of a property.

They used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
