Competition: Meet Jacqueline Wilson and win a copy of her book
Former Children’s Laureate and one of Britain’s best-loved authors Dame Jacqueline Wilson comes to York on Saturday (February 14, 2015).
The writer who gave us The Story of Tracy Beaker is launching her new book The Butterfly Club at St Peter’s School, Clifton, at 11am in an event organised by Waterstones York.
At the event you can hear the bestselling author discussing her career and the new book. Once again it is illustrated by Nick Sharratt, who also did this great picture of Jacqueline herself.
There will be no book signing after the talk but there will be an opportunity for children to ask questions.
Copies of The Butterfly Club will be available to purchase from Waterstones on the day and all will have been pre-signed by Jacqueline Wilson.
Tickets are on sale here.
Great prize up for grabs
Courtesy of Waterstones York, two readers will win a great prize:
a pair of tickets to the event
a meeting with Jacqueline Wilson, and
a copy of The Butterfly Club.
Answer the question below and enter by 3pm on Friday, February 13, and you could be one of our two lucky winners picked at random…
