CCTV released after violent incident in York city centre

York police are asking: Do you know this man?

He was captured on CCTV and they want to talk to him in connection with a violent incident in York earlier this month.

Officers are investigating an assault that happened off Piccadilly in the city centre at 12.20am on Friday 3 March

The police are asking people to get in touch if they recognise the man in the image as they “believe he will have information that will help the investigation”.
