York police are asking for the public’s help to identify two men they would like to speak to following the theft of a child’s bike.
The red balance bike which is in the style of a motorcycle, was taken from the cycle rack at Tesco on Clifton Moor on June 13, 2013.
The two men were seen in the vicinity of the rack and one was seen to pick up the bike and take it away.
Police are asking for anyone who can identify the pair to contact them.

PC Philip Kennedy of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “It is beyond belief what anyone would hope to gain by stealing a toy which obviously belongs to a small child. I am urging anyone who recognises either of the men in the photos to get in touch.”
nyone with any information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Philip Kennedy. Or you can email PC Kennedy by clicking here.
