Fire crews dealt with two arson attacks in York overnight.
The first incident happened at 9.32pm last night (Wednesday) at Foxwood Lane.
Acomb crews attended a small fire involving a park bench.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The cause is believed to be deliberate. Fire was out on arrival.”
Then, at 5.45am today (Thursday) in Huntington, York crews went to reports of a car fire.
“The fire was out on arrival and is believed to have happened some time ago,” the spokesperson said.
“Fire damage to the interior of car. Cause of fire is believed to be deliberate.”
