Based at Zatchels 50 Stonegate York YO1 8AS Part Time Retail Sales Assistant / Keyholder Zatchels has an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Sales Assistant at our Outlet Store on Stonegate in York City Centre. We are a small Independent business selling handmade leather bags and satchels. Our products are all made in the UK in our small Leicester workshop. We are looking for a Part Time Sales Assistant to work weekends in our small store. You should be confident approaching and chatting to our customers, be willing to learn about our brand and give our customers all the information they need when buying a bag from us. You would be a keyholder and willing to work alone, responsible for opening and closing the store. We are a small, friendly business. This is for weekend work with occasional shifts during the week to cover holiday if required subject to availability. We are open between 10am & 5pm. We are looking for someone to work 24 hours a month. You would work over a 4 week rolling shift pattern as follows. Week 1 / Saturday 10am to 5pm Week 2 / Sunday 11am to 4pm Week 3 / Saturday 10am to 5pm & Sunday 11am to 4pm Week 4 / Weekend Off Then back to week 1 and so on. Interested? No experience required however some experience in a public / customer facing role is an advantage. This role includes opening and closing the store, till reconciliation at start and end of shifts, ensuring the displays and store are clean and tidy at all times, processing transactions on the till system, talking to customers about our brand, ability to multi task and problem solve.
