A boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in York.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
It happened on Beaconsfield Street, Acomb, between 5.30pm and 5.45pm on Friday (13 October).

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A small blue vehicle collided with a 16-year-old boy who was taken to hospital for treatment.
“He sustained a serious but not life-threatening injury.
“Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to and after the incident, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.”
