A 13-year-old boy was assaulted by a man on a York cycle track.
The incident happened on the cycleway on Little Hob Moor, off Tadcaster Road, at about 3.30pm on Wednesday (November 25).
A young man aged about 19 to 20-years-old forcefully grabbed the young victim and pulled him off his bicycle and shook him violently.
The boy was not seriously hurt but was left distressed by the incident.
Police are appealing for information about a man with the description below.

Officers are appealing for information about the assault and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
